Food security and nutrition education are so important to me. Working in healthcare, I wholeheartedly believe a lack of proper nutrition or nutrition education should not be a contributor or cause for illness, or even death. There are so many conditions that plague minority communities that can be avoided and/or treated with access to proper nutrition. Please consider making a donation, or dining out (or in!) to raise funds for Open Hand Atlanta to continue their vision of eliminating disability and untimely death due to nutrition-sensitive chronic disease.
