Dear Open Hand Atlanta Patrons and Friends,

In light of the COVID-19 crisis, our signature fundraising event, Party in the Kitchen, is being put on hold until 2021. The safety of our guests, employees and restaurant partners as well as meeting our commitment to the community is our first priority. Given the current circumstances, we feel that it is not the best time to move forward with plans for our event this year.

However, it’s never too early to plan ahead! Mark your calendars and plan to join us next year for our 17th Annual Party in the Kitchen taking place on September 30, 2021 at American Spirit Works. It will be the party of all parties and you won’t want to miss it!

While this year’s party might be on hold, Open Hand Atlanta’s commitment to serve the most vulnerable in our community with nutritious meals continues. The number of individuals in need of our meals has grown substantially during this pandemic and although we won’t be together to enjoy the wonderful culinary offerings from many of Atlanta’s top chefs, you can still support Open Hand and the medically fragile individuals we serve. See you in 2021!

Sincerely,
Helen S. Carlos, Gerry Klaskala, Kevin Rathbun, Carmen Titelman (PITK Co-Chairs)
