Our 100,000 Meal Fund

Most of our clients are like Ammy: living with a chronic or severe illness and depending on Open Hand to keep them strong while they manage their diagnosis. This year groceries costs have continued to rise, and so have the number of Georgians looking to Open Hand for the nutrition and care they need.

An outstretched open hand can make all the difference: that’s why we’re asking you to consider reaching a little further and give an additional gift this year. To bridge this critical gap, we’re asking the community to help us fundraise for 100,000 additional meals by the end of the year.

Open Hand is no stranger to adversity. With your continued partnership, we know we will continue to serve our neighbors the love, dignity, and nutrition they’re counting on.

Open Hand Atlanta delivers love, dignity and nutrition to neighbors in need in Atlanta and throughout Georgia. For 35 years, we have provided delicious, nourishing meals and nutrition education to thousands of people who are home-bound or too sick to cook for themselves. We’re honored to serve seniors, children and families, and our neighbors who are at risk for or have a disability or medical illness.
