On April 24th, Open Hand will partner with generous restaurant partners all over metro Atlanta for Dining Out For Life 2024! Every spring, restaurants, volunteers and corporate sponsors in our community come together to support Open Hand and the work we do every day to ensure that our clients, the most vulnerable among us, have continued access to the nutritious meals upon which they rely.
Dining Out For Life is Open Hand’s annual fundraising event involving the generous participation of volunteers, corporate sponsors and restaurants. Our restaurant partners donate a percentage of sales on Wednesday, April 24th to Open Hand, and we work to fill participating locations with community members who want to support our mission of providing healthy meals and nutrition education to those who need it most.
Open Hand depends on funds raised by its signature events, such as Dining Out For Life, to continue to operate as one of the nation’s largest community-based providers of home-delivered meals and nutrition education. Last year alone, 60+ metro Atlanta restaurants joined together with our corporate sponsors for Dining Out for Life 2023 and raised more than $150,000 to further the mission of Open Hand
Dining Out For Life is a great way to engage in the community with friends and have fun supporting a wonderful cause! No matter how large or small, funds raised during Dining Out For Life help ensure that our clients have the meals they need and the peace of mind knowing that we are always here for them in times of crisis.
