At Open Hand Atlanta, one act of love started it all: a friend simply cooking for a friend.
Thirty-four years later, that one small act has created a major and lasting impact. Now Open Hand provides medically-tailored meals, fresh produce, and nutrition education to thousands of our chronically-ill, disabled, senior, or otherwise homebound friends and neighbors in need. But the heart of our mission remains the same: Food is Love.
