That is until our partner, Barnes Healthcare Services, enrolled him in Open Hand Atlanta's six week, evidence-based Cooking Matters and Produce Prescription programs.
"They taught me how to live better," Mario says proudly. In a matter of weeks, his physician saw marked improvements in Mario's blood sugar, blood pressure, and even his eyesight.
